This workshop will outline key information and details from the Nashville Covenant School shooting that occurred on March 27, 2023. Presenters will provide a brief overview of the mass shooting that took the lives of three children and three adults. The primary goal is to discuss the comprehensive services provided by the Metro Nashville Police Department’s officer wellness program. Presenters will discuss responding to various scenes, identifying key personnel impacted, and the various services and resources provided. The presentation will conclude with a discussion on positive outcomes, identified challenges, and recommendations.
