How you manage your stress post tragedy can have a long-lasting impact on your mental health as a law enforcement professional and as an individual. If your well-being is ignored, a traumatic event can lead to feelings of anxiety and post-traumatic stress. Implementing resilience skills into daily life can help individuals prepare for, recover from, and adapt to stress and adversity. Speakers will provide officers with resilience skills they can use in their personal and professional lives after a traumatic incident occurs. Participants will hear from retired law enforcement personnel who experienced tragedy firsthand, and the skills they used to stay healthy mentally and physically.
