Chief Marc Duphily has been a police officer for 29 years. He began his career in 1995 with the New Bedford Police Department, transferring to the Carver Police Department in 2002. In Carver, he rose through the ranks and was appointed Chief of Police in July of 2013. He holds both, a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Curry College. He is currently an Assistant Control Chief and the Unit Commander of the SEMLEC Regional SWAT team. His also a past President of the Plymouth County Chief’s Association and of the Southeastern Massachusetts Police Chiefs Association. Chief Duphily and the Carver Police Department have been part of the Plymouth County Outreach initiative since its inception. He is currently a member of the PCO Advisory Board and PCO Executive Committee.
