Paris Lewbel serves as the Deputy Director of Communications for the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C., where he oversees media relations, public affairs, and digital media for one of the nation's largest police departments. He leads communication strategies during high-profile emergencies and critical incidents, ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of information to the public and media.
Paris's career is marked by his ability to build strong relationships with local, national, and international media outlets. His leadership extends beyond D.C., as the Chair of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Public Information Officers Section and Co-chair of the U.S. Secret Service National Special Security Events Public Affairs subcommittee. Before his role in law enforcement communications, Paris was an Emmy-nominated investigative reporter covering law enforcement and public safety.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and serves as a Reserve Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police Department.
