Kenny Gonzalez is a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology with a forensic psychology emphasis at Montclair State University. His research and clinical interests primarily focus on violence risk assessment, cultural considerations in forensic assessment, police and public safety psychology, and adapting Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for justice-involved individuals. Kenny is currently completing an APA-accredited internship at a Veterans Affairs hospital in New York City, where he specializes in trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct lecturer, teaching undergraduate psychology classes at John Jay College and Montclair State University. Later this year, he hopes to begin a position with the NYPD, working in candidate assessment.
