Christopher King, JD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychology and the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) for the PhD Program in Clinical Psychology at Montclair State University. He teaches and conducts research related to adult and juvenile clinical-forensic psychology and mental health law, correctional psychology, and police and public safety psychology. This includes current practice-related research interests in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for persons who are justice involved, and preemployment psychological screening of police candidates. Dr. King received his JD, and PhD in clinical psychology with a forensic concentration, from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
