    Misty Good

    Deputy General Counsel

    Misty Good is the Deputy General Counsel for the Charles County (Maryland) Sheriff’s Office. Misty joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2002 as a paralegal. She attended and graduated from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law while working full-time. Misty advises the Sheriff on employment and human resources matters, represents the Sheriff’s Office in labor negotiations, teaches constitutional law and criminal law at the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy, and conducts in-service and on-going training for police, corrections, and civilian employees. Misty is the current chair of the Maryland police legal advisors’ group, and a member of the Maryland State Bar. She was named the Charles County Sheriff’s Office’s first Deputy General Counsel in 2022.
