Commander Luis “Rudi” Rudisell is a thirty year law enforcement veteran of the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, Bureau of Investigation, and the Escondido Police Department. A recognized expert and trainer in Threat Assessments, “Use of Force”, Defensive Tactics, De-escalation, Active Shooter, and Witness Protection, he has trained with multiple federal, state, and local law enforcement and civilian agencies, including international law enforcement agencies in Israel and El Salvador. Commander Rudisell frequently speaks and instructs on the topic of Threat Assessments, Active Shooter, Situational Awareness, Tactics, and Police Leadership at law enforcement and civilian seminars. He is a graduate of the Sherman L. Block, Supervisory Leadership Institute-Long Beach State University, The San Diego County Regional Leadership Institute, The FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association-Trilogy Series, holds a POST Supervisory and Management Certificate, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Leadership.
