Detective Superintendent Frankie Westoby has a wealth of experience working at a national, regional, and local level. Frankie is currently seconded to the UK College of Policing as a Senior Leadership Trainer. Joining the Metropolitan Police in 1997, she worked across multiple north London departments, including proactive drug teams, critical incident investigation, intelligence departments before specialising in safeguarding and mental health.
Working at the National Police Coordination Centre , Frankie coordinated the national response to a number of high profile terrorist attacks and other incidents. Public Order Policing is a passion, both from her role as a Silver Public Order Commander and Senior Investigating Offficer.
In 2020 Frankie transferred to Hertfordshire Constabulry as a Borough Commander for Local Policing, before specialing in Digital Forensics, Cyber and Serious Fraud. Frankie is an experienced hostage and crisis negotiator and is the tactical lead for Hertfordshire Constabulary.
Currently she delivers senior leadership training to senior officers and staff across the UK and internationally, with a focus on female leadership.
