Dale Stockton is a 32-year veteran of law enforcement, having worked in all areas of police operations and investigations and retiring as a police captain from Carlsbad, California. Dale is a graduate of the 201st FBI National Academy and holds a master’s degree in Criminology from University of California, Irvine. He is a former commissioner for California POST, the agency responsible for all law enforcement training standards. Dale has presented best practice classes in using technology for the IACP and the National Institute of Justice. He has served on the IACP Criminal Justice Information Systems Committee for more than five years and was a project manager at the Automated Regional Justice Information System (ARJIS) for 13 years. Dale is known for launching Below 100, a common-sense approach to officer safety. He is the chairman of the Spirit of Blue Foundation and is a partner at Public Safety Insight, LLC, a consulting firm that advises public safety agencies and vendors.
