Dr Neil Orlowsky is the Director of Education with the Abraham Global Peace Initiative. Dr Orlowsky holds dual-PhDs in Social Justice Education, and Comparative International Development Education (OISE UofT), examining education as a tool of political indoctrination with a specific focus on Israeli and Palestinian curriculum. Dr Orlowsky holds a certificate in International Humanitarian Law (University of Ottawa), a Masters of Education in Sociology and Equity Studies (OISE UofT) and a BEd and Specialized BA from York University and Queens University. In addition to his work with AGPI, Dr Orlowsky is an expert pundit on AM640 in Toronto, and holds the rank of part-time professor at Humber College where he teaches Psychology of Terrorism, following a three-year secondment in York University’s Faculty of Education where he provided expertise in anti-oppressive and culturally responsive pedagogies; teaching for diverse and equitable classrooms, and international development education. Having spent more than two decades teaching, Dr Orlowsky now uses his platform to dismantle institutional and systemic antisemitism.
