Alexis Gutierrez is the founder and Victim Services Coordinator of the Carbon Valley & Mead Victim Services Program, which serves the Colorado municipalities of Frederick, Firestone, Dacono, and Mead. She has worked in the field of Victim Services for ten years and is passionate about serving victims of crime, especially those affected by domestic violence or sexual assault. Alexis has received two Beth Haynes Special Recognition Awards for her exceptional acts of service for domestic violence victims and survivors. Alexis earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and worked in mental health and educational intervention before dedicating herself to helping victims of crime. Alexis enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family in her free time.
