Susan Townsley is the Program Manager for the Vernon County Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative Grant. Susan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of experience as a rural outpatient mental health provider. Susan is the Clinic Director at Stonehouse Counseling in Viroqua, Wisconsin. She specializes in working with victims of domestic violence. She also leads groups for both men and women who have been charged with domestic violence. In addition, Susan is a founding member of the Vernon County Coordinated Community Response Team. Susan serves as a Commissioner on the Wisconsin Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission for Rural Prosperity and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), The Vernon County Trauma Task Force and the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health. She also chairs the NASW-WI Rural Mental Health Committee. Susan attained her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Duke University. She received a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Business from Columbia University.
