Captain Celina Robles began her career with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2006. She has worked in a variety of patrol divisions as a police officer, including specialized assignments. In 2015, she was promoted to Detective at Olympic Division, where she investigated Major Assault Crimes and worked Operations – West Bureau Homicide.
In 2016, Robles was promoted to Sergeant at Southeast Division. In 2021, Robles was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to Newton Area. As a Lieutenant II, she served as the adjutant to the Assistant Chief for the Office of Special Operations.
Robles was promoted to Captain in 2023 and appointed as the Hollenbeck Division Patrol Commanding Officer. In October 2024, Captain Robles was assigned to Pacific Division. Her priorities are officer safety, employee wellness and to strengthen public trust through service and constitutional policing.
Captain Robles graduated from the University of California Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and obtained her Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University of Long Beach. Captain Robles is the President of the Latin American Law Enforcement Association.
