Sneha Shankar obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Health Psychology from University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. She received her Master of Science degree in General Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) in 2016. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology at EMU in 2024 during which she completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the Trauma, Recovery, and Justice track, where she worked within the intersection of trauma, justice involvement, and substance use. Currently, she is completing her postdoctoral fellowship in the Trauma, Healing, and Resilience in Vulnerable Environments (THRIVE) at Montefiore Medical Center.
