Jay Mason joined the Tumwater Police Department in September 1993. He has worked as a patrol officer, narcotics detective, general detective, and supervised patrol and investigations. Jay was promoted to Commander in November 2017, and now oversees day-to-day operations of the police department. Outside of work, Jay has served on the board of multiple non-profits and advisory committees.
