Mr. Milovanovic attended Police High School and Police Academy. In June 1996, Mr. Milovanovic started working for the Belgrade city Police Department as a police officer. In Маy 2001, following graduation from the Serbian Police Academy, he advanced to Belgrade city police Department as the Assistant Commander. His career progressed to the position of detective working for the Drug Unit at Belgrade city police Department (September 2001). Still working as detective, he moved on to the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, Drug Unit (August 2004). In February of 2006, Mr. Milovanovic assumed the position of the Handler for the Witness Protection Unit of the Serbian Ministry of Interior. Three years later, he became the Chief of Section for the Department of Undercover Investigators, Criminal Police Directorate, Ministry of Interior (December 2007), advancing to the position of Deputy Chief of the same department in November 2015. In February 2020, Mr. Milovanovic was promoted to Police Colonel. In addition to his regular duties, Mr. Milovanovic was a permanent representative of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia in the European Undercover Units Association „European cooperation group ECG”, from 2010 to 2021, serving also as a trainer for Undercover officers. From July 2021 he has been serving as police liaison officer in Washington DC, USA.
