Vera Daniel is an LCSW, with a passion for working with public safety personnel. She currently serves as the Fairfax County Public Safety Health and Wellness Director, dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of those in public safety. She earned her master’s degree in social work degree from Norfolk State University. Her educational background, combined with her extensive experience, has provided her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and stressors of law enforcement officers. She is a strong advocate for destigmatizing behavioral health issues within the public safety profession. She develops and implements programs and initiatives to promote overall well-being of public safety personnel. She is known for her empathic approach to working with individuals as well as her dedication to advocating for mental health awareness and support within the public safety community. She is committed to helping others and her work continues to have a significant impact on the lives of those she serves.
