Sergeant Stacy Schantz has proudly served with the Denver Police Department for 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to his role. Throughout his career, Sergeant Schantz has held various positions including Training Corporal, Major Crimes/Night Shift Homicide Investigator, and most recently, Aide to Chief Ron Thomas and Deputy Chief Joe Montoya. In his current role, Sergeant Schantz is instrumental in developing innovative ideas and implementing new strategies. As the department’s Language Access Coordinator, he has successfully rebuilt the department's language access plan in partnership with the U.S. Department of Justice. His efforts have significantly enhanced the department’s ability to serve its diverse community effectively. Sergeant Schantz engaged in international collaboration, working with the Ambassador of Bahrain on community policing methods and advising the Delegation of Ukraine on policing reforms. Sergeant Schantz's commitment to excellence and community service reflects the core values of the Denver Police Department.
