Director of Youth Safety/Forensic Interviewer

Jacquelyn Lamont, MA, is the Director of Youth Safety and Supervisor of the Forensic Interview Team for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. She began her career as a Victim Witness Advocate in the Boston Municipal Court, and later became a Forensic Interviewer in the Child Protection Unit. She has conducted over two thousand forensic interviews of children and adult survivors of abuse and violence. In her various roles, she has created and delivers trainings for students, professionals, and caregivers, on a variety of topics, including online safety, exploitation, child abuse, forensic and minimal facts interviewing, and more. She is a regular trainer at the Boston Police Academy, as well as for the local law departments in Suffolk County, including the Chelsea, Winthrop, and Revere Police Departments. Ms. Lamont works closely with the Children's Advocacy Center of Suffolk County and is dedicated to improving the criminal justice system's response to child abuse, sexual assault, and exploitation. She is also the co-creator of the child abuse and sexual assault awareness campaign, Now You See.
