    Sergeant Joseph DeVito is the Supervisor of the Boston Police District B-3 Community Service Office which encompasses the neighborhoods of Mattapan and Dorchester. Before his current assignment, he was assigned as a Patrol Officer in District D-4 (South End/Back Bay) and had was assigned as an accident reconstructionist. Sergeant DeVito joined the Boston Police Department in 2015. Prior to becoming a police officer, he worked in SaaS software sales as both a manager and individual contributor. Sergeant DeVito has an undergraduate degree in Computer Networking and Information Systems from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Graduate Degree in Criminal Justice from Lasell University.
