    Dr. Stephanie Thomas has dedicated over 20 years to the Atlanta Police Department in various training, educational, and managerial roles. She currently serves as the Training Director for the Atlanta Police Leadership Institute (A.P.L.I.), where she has developed a comprehensive and rigorous leadership development program. APLI emphasizes cultivating leaders who deeply understand the critical role of relationship dynamics and practical communication skills. Dr. Thomas's approach centers on ongoing professional development, guided by the timeless proverb, 'Seek first to understand, then to be understood.'

    Throughout her tenure at the Atlanta Police Department, she excelled as a Senior Peace Officer Standard Training (P.O.S.T) Instructor and Training Manager. She has also facilitated training with the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Botswana, South Africa. Additionally, as a Certified Critical Incident Command Instructor, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role."
