Vidhyulata Mathews is Executive Director of Strategic Technology Division at NYPD. Prior to NYPD she worked at TLC as Deputy Chief information Officer.
She has over 2 decades of experience in strategic leadership and digital transformation holding many leadership roles. She has experience globally in both public and private sector across various industry domains.
At NYPD, she is responsible for strategic technical vision and driving innovation. She overseas department’s next gen technology, analytics & application development to enhance public safety and improve operations efficiency.
Exec Dir Mathews holds a Bachelor of political Science and economics degree, Honors in Computer science and 2023 graduate of the Police Management Institute at Columbia University. She was recognized as New York City Heros for IT transformation in 2019.
