Chief Billy Grogan (Ret.) recently retired after a distinguished career in law enforcement. His 43-year journey culminated in his role as the founding police chief of the Dunwoody Police Department, a position he held with distinction for 15 years.
As an accomplished international speaker, he has shared his expertise with law enforcement professionals in Egypt, Hungary, and the Republic of Georgia. His status as a certified national and international speaker through the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) underscores his global reach.
He has served as president of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, is a life member of the GACP, IACP, and the FBINAA, and served 17 years on the IACP Human and Civil Rights Committee.
He currently works with law enforcement leaders through www.topcopleadership.com, conducts executive recruitments for local government through Sumter Local Government Consulting, consults with Flock Safety, and recently released a book titled Guardians of the Community: Uniting Communities Through Sir Robert Peel’s Time-Honored Principles.
