Kenneth Lacey is the Commanding Officer of the Crime Control Strategies Unit and oversees the AWARE Crime Control Center for the Yonkers Police Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Human Services and brings 14 years of law enforcement experience. As an FBI-Leeda Trilogy recipient, Kenneth has been instrumental in advancing the department’s use of data-driven approaches to crime prevention and crisis management.
Kenneth leads the integration of technology in the department, utilizing cutting edge technology as part of the Precision Policing Model to enhance real-time situational awareness, improve resource deployment, and foster collaboration across agencies. His work in the AWARE Crime Control Center involves leveraging advanced tools such as real-time crime data and intelligent communication systems to streamline decision-making and improve public safety outcomes.
As a speaker at the IACP Conference, Kenneth will offer insights into how Yonkers PD uses technology to drive operational efficiency, ensure faster response times, and build trust within the community through data transparency and effective crisis management.
