Heather Dooley is a Senior Project Manager for the IACP. She co-manages the OVC Law Enforcement-Based Victim Services (LEV) Program, providing training and technical assistance to 80 law enforcement agencies starting or enhancing victim services programs. She also oversaw the OVC Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Victims (ELERV) initiative from 2018-2022 and served as an Advisory Board Member for the OVW Measuring Success in the Criminal Justice System’s Response to Domestic/Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking project.
Ms. Dooley previously served as the Social Services Program Coordinator for the Travis County Sheriff’s Office Victim Services Unit in Austin, TX. She managed the volunteer and internship programs, provided direct services to victims, and trained agency personnel and community partners. Ms. Dooley has a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
