Chief Investigator Dave D'Amico is a thirty-four year veteran of law enforcement. He began his career with New Jersey State Department of Corrections, later with the Asbury Park Police Department as a Police Officer and Detective. For over sixteen years Dave served as a Detective with The Office of the Monmouth County Prosecutor.
Dave retired and relocated to Fort Lauderdale Florida, while in Florida, Dave joined the Broward County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff. In 2016, Dave was appointed the Chief Investigator for the Middlesex County Department of Corrections and Youth Services.
Dave is a certified Trainer by The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Bias Crimes Investigations as well as Cultural Diversity, Community Relations, Sensitivity Training, and Criminal Investigations. Dave is a consultant with the International Association of Chief’s of Police, Simon Wiesenthal Center, and with the Southern Poverty Law Center. He is an Adjunct Professor at Brookdale Community College,the Co- Chair of the New Jersey LGBTQ Law Enforcement Liaison Program and the President of the New Jersey Bias Crime Officer's Association.
