Dr. Kayla Allison earned her Ph.D. with a dual major in Sociology and Criminal Justice at Indiana University in 2020. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology & Criminology at the University of Arkansas. Her research focuses on masculinities, policing, bias crime, and social networks. Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and has appeared in several refereed journals including, Justice Quarterly, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Social Science Research, Crime and Delinquency, and The Sociological Quarterly.
