Tameka Chatman, MA, LCADC, SAP provides workforce development training and consultation services throughout New Jersey and nationally. She has worked with several teams across behavioral health and criminal justice settings and on a variety of topics including the intersections of behavioral health and criminal justice, adult learning, co-occurring disorders, psychopathology, treatment planning, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and stress management/self-care. She runs the Next 2nd Chance Center for Behavioral Health & Criminal Justice at Rutgers UBHC, coordinates all training programs for Rutgers University Correctional Health Care, and presents at Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trainings throughout NJ. Tameka has worked as a clinician, administrator, and an adjunct professor of psychology. She is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor and a Federally Qualified Substance Abuse Professional for the Department of Transportation with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health. She earned a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Temple University and an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
