Major Patrick Hart, Ft. Lauderdale Police Department. I have worked with the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department for 27 years. I have been the Major of Investigations for the last year. Prior to that, I was the Captain of Criminal Investigations Division for 4 years. I have worked in all three bureaus within the police department. I have extensive experience in investigations, special events and critical incidents. I was a member of the SWAT team for twelve years and the Bomb Commander for 10 years. Outside the department I have taught criminal justice classes at the college level and I coached football for 9 years.
