Equitable Sharing Program Updates

The Department of Justice Assets Forfeiture Program remains committed to its law enforcement partners and compensating victims of crime. To date, more than $12 billion has been returned to victims of crime and more than $300 million is shared annually with partners. Funds awarded through the Equitable Sharing Program to state and local law enforcement agencies provide valuable training and resources and life-saving equipment to law enforcement agencies without burdening taxpayer dollars. This workshop covers recent policy and legislative updates impacting the program, debunks common myths, provides insight to handling challenges, and shares information on the opportunities provided by this valuable resource.
