Understanding the Intersection of Sextortion, Child Sexual Abuse Material, and Child Sex Trafficking (Law Enforcement Only)

This session is limited to law enforcement officers only.

This training will provide a deeper understanding of sextortion, online enticement, child sex abuse material, and the intersection of those issues with child sex trafficking. Participants will hear directly from survivors on the unique impacts and long-term effects online imagery can have on victimization and healing. The session will also explore the various forms of child sex trafficking, including familial trafficking, which often includes victimization by the child’s biological family and can start as early as infancy or toddler age. Participants will leave with a better understanding of what resources are available to support their investigations and the survivors in their cases.
