Subjects experiencing a behavioral emergency -- from an extremely agitated state to suicidal behavior -- can be very challenging for any first responder. Coordination of law enforcement and medical resources in an effective manner is key to successfully navigating these high-risk situations. This presentation will be video and discussion based, and will highlight best practices to follow when faced with the wide ranging spectrum of behavioral health emergencies. This presentation will be followed by a panel discussion on behavioral emergencies.
