This presentation will highlight how the Boston Police Department is using the "Stop the Bleed" lifesaving course to build trust within the community. “Stop the Bleed” is a course where officers teach the community three quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out. The department recently received an award from the Red Cross for these efforts. This presentation will cover how this program was developed and how it is being received by community members.
