Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and Boston Police Department will present on the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) investigation model, which is the heart of the Children’s Advocacy Center’s (CAC) response to allegations of child abuse. The goal of the MDT is to quickly respond to concerns of child abuse and to determine the best response for the child and family, as well as reduce the number of times that a child has to speak about their abuse and help families access safety and services.
