Funding limitations, remote and rural terrain, and jurisdictional complexities are common challenges facing law enforcement serving tribal communities. In this session, tribal law enforcement experts will share how they are implementing technology solutions and FirstNet to equip their officers with new tools and capabilities to enhance situational awareness, cross-agency coordination, and reliable communications. This session explores how FirstNet, the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network, has expanded tower infrastructure in tribal communities and broadened access to advanced technology for tribal and federal law enforcement in Indian Country.
