Addressing Rising Retail Crime with Connected, AI-Driven Technology

Even as most categories of crime decreased in the first half of 2024, retail crime continued to rise, according to the Council on Criminal Justice. National retailers and small family-owned stores alike are combatting shrink and violence against employees, with many forced to close. Increasingly, law enforcement and elected leaders are seeing the necessity of incorporating intelligent technology in the fight against retail crime. AI and machine learning-powered tools enable proactive crime-solving, versus just reactive response.
