Victim Services Coordinator
Battle Creek (MI) Police Department
Aleena Robinson is the Victim Services Coordinator for the Battle Creek Police Department in Battle Creek, Michigan. In 2019, the Battle Creek Police Department was a recipient site for the OVC-LEV grant, which created the position for a Victim Advocate. Aleena established a hybrid-model Victim Assistance Program for the Battle Creek Police Department, employed by the Battle Creek Community Foundation. In 2023, the Program’s valuable expansion was acknowledged by the City of Battle Creek with the integration of the Victim Services Unit into BCPD’s annual budget.
Prior to her work in Victim Advocacy, Aleena’s passion for community enrichment led to work within the Child Welfare System with a focus on family reunification. She has earned a B.A. in Sociology and Comparative Religion from Western Michigan University.
