Katrine Malakhova oversees the IACP's Policy Center efforts in developing policy guidance to assist police agencies across the globe. In her current position, Ms. Malakhova analyzes current IACP policies, legislation, and other critical policing issues. She works with various industry stakeholders and subject matter experts in the development of new and revision of existing policies.
Prior to managing the Policy Center, she was an Engagement Coordinator on the IACP Member Engagement Team where she worked alongside IACP committees, sections, and divisions to develop project materials, such as magazine content, online resources, educational handouts, and toolkits for the field. She managed projects to spur future engagement and support the association's global reach. Overseeing the IACP Annual Awards program, she used the findings from submissions to highlight initiatives, projects, programs, and individuals across the globe to recognize leading police practices and noble efforts.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law, with a minor in Political Science from Carleton University, Canada.
