Stephanie Gagnon is a full professor at the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) in Quebec, Canada. She has been researching the police environment for several years. Her most recent research focuses on the community policing approach and the regulation of police emotions in extreme contexts. She has published in the following journals: Journal of Organizational Behavior, Public Management Review and Public Organization Review. More recently, she has taken an interest in the phenomenon of cross-sector intervention in the police environment in order to help people in vulnerable situations.
