Captain Jordan Satinsky is currently the director of the Montgomery County Police Department’s Community Engagement Division. The division consists of the School Resource Officer Program, the Crisis Intervention Team, and the Behavioral Assessment Unit. Previously, he held various investigative assignments (homicide, adult sex crimes, child physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, and elder/vulnerable adult abuse).
Captain Satinsky has extensive teaching experience in criminal investigations, crime scene management, sexual assault investigations, domestic violence investigations, elder/vulnerable adult investigations, and interview/interrogation practices. He has developed and presented curriculum at the college level, international agencies, national conferences, and local agencies. Captain Satinsky is a subject matter expert for the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative and the National Case Closed Project. He holds a Bachelors of the Arts from the University of Maryland at College Park in Criminology and Criminal Justice. As well as a master’s degree from in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
