A Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) is designed and dedicated to analyzing patterns of gun violence, identifying those perpetrating the gun violence and identifying and analyzing the sources of illegal firearms into communities. This overview will highlight the benefits of a Crime Gun Intelligence Center, what tools and resources are needed to establish and maintain a CGIC, as well as best practices.
