Jonathan Lewin is a Domain Lead at the First Responder Network Authority, U.S. Department of Commerce. Prior to this, he served as Executive Officer for Operations at INTERPOL Washington, U.S. Department of Justice. He retired as Chief of Technical Services for the Chicago Police Department, where he was a sworn member for 28 years. During his tenure, he introduced award-winning programs to enhance public safety, including Chicago's Strategic Decision Support Centers-- a successful approach to reducing violence through tech and process improvements. He was a board member and Chair of the IACP Law Enforcement Information Technology Section and the Major Cities Chiefs Association representative on DHS SAFECOM and FirstNet's Public Safety Advisory Council. Currently, Lewin serves on the IACP CJIS Committee. He was named to Government Technology’s Top 25 Doers, Dreamers & Drivers and was named Tech Champion of the Year by the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. He earned a BS in Admin of Justice at Southern Illinois University, an MA in Public Policy at Northwestern University, and an MA in Security Studies at the Naval Postgraduate School.
