Gina Gallivan is a Licensed and Board-Certified Police and Public Safety Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She has served as an Executive Board Member and General Chair of the Psychological Services Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and currently chairs the IACP’s Police Officer Wellness Initiative’s Committee. Her contributions extend to several key committees, including Peer Support, Fitness for Duty Guidelines, and Officer Safety and Wellness Suicide Prevention.
Dr. Gallivan has provided psychological services to more than 100 police and public safety agencies in Southern California and is a California P.O.S.T. subject matter expert and evaluator. She has conducted over 10,000 pre-employment psychological screenings and served as a primary trauma responder for critical incidents such as the Seal Beach Salon Meritage mass shooting, the UCLA active shooter, and the Route 91 Las Vegas concert mass shooting. Additionally, she founded Southern California’s Regional Peer Support program, providing training and managing peer support teams at various levels.
