Clark County Sheriff's Office
Christopher Clark is the Sheriff Elect for Clark County, Ohio and will take office on January 6, 2025. Chris is a lifelong resident of Clark County and has dedicated his life to public service. He has served 27 years in law enforcement and a total of 32 years in public safety with Madison Township, where he currently serves as the Emergency Services Chief. He has been married to the love of his life, Julie, for 24 years and they have three wonderful children together.
He attended The Ohio State University before joining the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in 1997, initailly as a Disatpcher, and then as a Deputy in 1998. He quickly worked his way up the ranks until he was promoted to the rank of Major in 2016 where he remained until March of 2023. As Major, Chris was directly responsible for overseeing the operations of several divisions within the Sheriff’s Office as well as the development, operation and command of the Clark County Special Operations Team and the design, construction and deployment a county wide Combined 911 Center, which opened in March of 2023.
Christopher ready to take the reins at the Clark County Sheriff's Office and continue is life's mission of servce before self.
