Toronto Police Service
Anthony Paoletta is an acting Superintendent with the Toronto Police Service. He is in his 29th year with the Service and is presently assigned to the Community Partnerships and Engagement Unit as the Unit Commander. He oversees a team of sworn and civilian members responsible for managing several organizational programs and initiatives, providing guidance on community mobilization initiatives and establishing community partnerships.
Throughout his career, Anthony has held significant leadership roles within the Service. He served as the Unit Commander at 22 Division, overseeing policing operations in the Etobicoke area of Toronto. He was also the Unit Commander of Strategy Management, responsible for developing corporate projects and administering police reform activities. His leadership roles also extended to areas such as the Duty Operations Centre, and Emergency Management. Anthony serves as an Incident Commander for the Public Order Unit and is a member of the Incident Management Team for critical incident response.
Anthony has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University and a Master of Public Safety from Wilfrid Laurier University.
